I'm real sorry for the lag on the contest. I just really haven't been focusing on a lot on DA. My art is lagging and school is swamping me, and I just don't have time for much any more.

The contest may take a little longer to decided on what we are going to do. I haven't talked to any of the other administrators in such a long while, that I almost forgot about the contest. But I did remember promising that there was going to be a contest soon, and I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

The contest will be on hold till further notice, sorry to those who were really looking forward to this.

We finally have our new avatar!!!

Hello *Diabla69 here,

I am one of the Administrators of the Club and the founder. There are two other Adminstrators, who are: Bampira and Shalja-trio.

As you know by now, this is a club, and is only used to promote art, and is not used for faves or comments on the pictures.

I promise to those who have joined this club, that we (the administrators) will not steal and/or claim your art as our own, considering we are artists, and wouldn't want this to happen to us.

A Little Competetion Never Hurts!

Occasionally there will be contests. I'm not sure what the contests will consist of tho, but me and the administrators will have to get together and figure that out and when we do we will let you guys know . But all I know is there will be two contests.

Contest Group 1: Which consists of art in the less detailed area.
This type of group can get away with:
Not having a detailed background (but if a background is drawn then extra points will be given)
Having characters with less detail (but laziness will not be rewarded)
Other details will be added, so be patient. Some may vary. (depending on how i feel)

Contest Group 2: Which consist of a middle level of art, and has more detailed art then the first group.
This type of group must have:
A Background (but may not be needed, depended on the subject of the picture the artist has drawn, and the contest)
Detailed characters to a minimial
No sloppy lines
Has form
Has shadows
Other details will be added, so be patient.

Contest Group 3: This group critically judged on these factors:
Background: does it flow with the picture? Does it make the subject pop?
Form
Shadows
Color (doesn't count if there is no color in the picture)
Textures (don't have to be used, but if so points will be added)
Detials (will be critically judged)
More factors will be added so you may want to check regularly

The administrators and I will not be looking at pictures and assigning which group they will go under, I decided not to do this becauase it is cruel and heart breaking; I'll leave the choice open for you to decide. If you have no idea which one you want to participate in, then me and the other administrators will pick for you, by the factors above.

I seperated these in groups mainly because, some ppl are different levels then other people in this club, and it wouldn't be fair if there was just one big contest those in different levels, it wouldn't be fun, and instead be frustrating.

What is a contest without prizes?

Of coarse there has to be a prize to get you guys started and working hard. So I decided, that the prize will be Free Subscription paid by me
Group 1&2: will be getting 4 months subscription paid by me
Group 3: will get a year subsciption paid by me
Now i know you probably don't think this may be fair. But these pictures will be judged harshly.

Submission Process

There was a quite a lag in making this club, because i didn't know how to submit pictures here. I'm so dumb! Then when I was cleaning my house on the 28th of November and realized what I could have done! I could easily go to the artist's deviation, full size it, right-click and push save as. While doing this I also decided to put these pictures in a seperate folder on my computer, so i can keep track of what i submitted by who, instead of just logging in here and seeing the pics (even tho it would be easier on the eyes, but I just like to have something to do) And after i save them on my computer, I do the submission process, instead i don't have a real comment, and just link it to the real deviation. lol, wow i'm dumb.

Anyway, if you are not happy with this process, I know there is another way (which will be way more difficult for me , but if it's ur preference I'll try my best to make you happy) But as I said above the administrators will not steal ur art and claim it as our own, considering we are artists and wouldn't want this to happen to us!

How do I Join?


The only reason for this club is for art that is not being appreciated, if you have pictures that are unappreciated and have low favorites and views, then you will be accepted; other than that, you won't be accepted.
